USDT

USDT (Tether) is a stablecoin designed to track the US dollar. In casino cashiers it is popular for one reason: the value of your balance barely moves between deposit and payout, unlike Bitcoin or Litecoin. Its catch is structural rather than financial — the same token exists on several blockchains, and choosing the wrong one is the most common USDT mistake. The set of methods and limits depends on your account — check the cashier.

Depositing USDT: network first, amount second

  1. In the cashier choose USDT, then choose the network — typically TRC-20 (Tron) or ERC-20 (Ethereum), sometimes others.
  2. Copy the address generated for that network. TRC-20 and ERC-20 addresses look different; if the format does not match what your wallet expects, stop.
  3. In your wallet send USDT on the same network. Make sure you also hold the network's gas token (TRX or ETH) to pay the fee.
  4. Check the minimum deposit and the network fee. ERC-20 fees are usually higher than TRC-20, but both change with traffic.
  5. After crediting, check the rate the cashier used to convert USDT into your account currency.

Withdrawing USDT

A USDT payout has two stages. First, the operator approves the request after identity checks, a look at bonus status and any additional review. Second, the cashier sends the coins on the network you selected. Paste your wallet address for that network and compare the first and last characters before confirming. Coins sent to an address on another network are generally unrecoverable, and the cashier cannot pull them back.

What the dollar peg protects — and what it doesn't

The peg keeps one USDT close to one US dollar, so a win does not evaporate because of crypto volatility. It does not protect you from the exchange rate between the dollar and your own currency, from network fees, or from the spread an exchange charges when you convert back. Illustrative example, not Boomerang's terms: you deposit 100 USDT and two weeks later withdraw the same value in USDT. If your home currency strengthened against the dollar meanwhile, those 100 USDT buy slightly less of it; if it weakened, slightly more. The effect is small compared with Bitcoin, but it is not zero.

NetworkTypical traitsWatch out for
TRC-20 (Tron)Usually low fees, quick confirmationsYour wallet must support Tron and hold TRX for fees
ERC-20 (Ethereum)Very widely supportedFees can spike when Ethereum is congested

USDT and bonus terms

As with other coins, some offers exclude crypto deposits, and bonuses are calculated on the credited amount after conversion. Read the offer first and send a margin above the qualifying deposit. General crypto principles are on the crypto payments page, a more volatile alternative is Litecoin, and the wagering arithmetic is in our wagering guide.

USDT FAQ

What is the difference between USDT on TRC-20 and ERC-20?
It is the same token issued on two different blockchains, Tron and Ethereum. Addresses, fees and confirmation times differ. The network chosen in the cashier and in your wallet must be the same, otherwise the deposit may not arrive.
Is USDT free of exchange-rate risk?
Not entirely. USDT tracks the US dollar, so it moves far less than Bitcoin, but if your casino account or your own money is in another currency, the dollar exchange rate still applies — plus network and exchange fees.
Can I withdraw USDT on a different network from the one I deposited on?
That depends on the cashier: some offer several networks for payouts, others only one. Make sure the address you paste belongs to exactly the network you select.
Why does the cashier want more confirmations than my wallet shows?
The operator sets how many confirmations it needs before crediting. Your wallet shows the transaction exists; the cashier waits until it treats it as final.
