Crypto payments at Boomerang: a practical primer

Crypto deposits appeal because they bypass bank processing and can be credited quickly. They also introduce three things a card payment never asks you to think about: which network you are on, who holds the keys to the wallet, and what exchange rate applies when coins become balance and balance becomes coins again. This page sets out those principles for Bitcoin, Litecoin and stablecoins such as USDT, and links to the coin-specific guides. The set of methods and limits depends on your account — check the cashier. Whether any coin is offered for your account is visible only after you log in.

Depositing with crypto

  1. Choose the coin and the network in the cashier. It will display an address, often with a QR code.
  2. Note any extra field such as a memo, tag or payment ID. Some networks need it to match the deposit to your account.
  3. Check the minimum deposit for that coin; an amount below it may never be credited.
  4. Send from your wallet on the same network, paste the address rather than typing it, and review the network fee before confirming.
  5. Wait for the number of confirmations the operator requires, then check how much the cashier credited and at what rate.

Withdrawing to a crypto wallet

A crypto payout runs in reverse. You enter your wallet address and network, the cashier converts your balance into coins, and once the request is approved the transaction is broadcast. Approval works as with any other method — identity checks, a look at active bonuses and possibly an extra review on a first or large withdrawal. Only after that does the blockchain take over. Mistakes in the address or network cannot be fixed once sent, so copy addresses and compare the first and last characters before you confirm.

Custody: whose wallet is it?

With a self-custody wallet you hold the keys and the responsibility: lose the recovery phrase and nobody can restore the funds. With an exchange account the exchange holds the keys, which is convenient but means its own rules apply — some exchanges limit transfers to or from gambling services, delay incoming deposits or ask questions about their origin. For casino payments a wallet you control is usually the simplest route, provided you back it up properly.

Exchange rates: where value moves

Your casino balance is normally kept in a regular currency, so every crypto deposit and payout includes a conversion at the cashier's rate. With volatile coins the value of a win can shift noticeably between withdrawal and the moment you sell. Illustrative example, not Boomerang's terms: you deposit coins worth 200 units, win and withdraw 300 units' worth of coins; if the coin falls 5% before you sell, you end up with roughly 285 units before exchange and network fees. Stablecoins move far less against the dollar, but if your own currency is not the dollar, that exchange rate still applies.

Crypto and bonus terms

Bonus offers may exclude crypto deposits or attach different rules to them. A subtler trap: the bonus is calculated from the amount the cashier credits after conversion, not from the value your wallet showed when you pressed send. A deposit just above the qualifying amount can end up just below it. Read the offer first — our bonus terms checklist shows which clauses to look for.

Crypto FAQ

Does paying with crypto mean I skip verification?
No. Your casino account is still registered in your name, and operators generally ask for the same identity documents before a payout whichever method you use. Crypto changes how the money travels, not the account rules.
Can I reuse the same deposit address every time?
Some cashiers keep a permanent address per account, others generate a new one for each deposit. Always copy the address shown in the cashier at that moment instead of reusing an old one from your wallet history.
What happens if I send coins on the wrong network?
In most cases the transfer cannot be reversed and the funds may be lost. Match the network in your wallet to the network shown next to the cashier address, and send a small test amount the first time.
Should I withdraw to an exchange or to my own wallet?
A wallet you control is the safer default. Some exchanges restrict transfers linked to gambling services or credit deposits slowly, and a returned transaction can take a long time to sort out.
Do crypto deposits qualify for bonuses?
Not always. Some offers exclude crypto deposits, others have separate crypto promotions with their own wagering. The terms of the specific offer decide.
